Born in Bengaluru to a Kannadiga mother, Priyanka Arul Mohan studied biological engineering at PES University before debuting in Kannada film with Ondh Kathe Hella (2019). She has since worked mainly in Telugu and Tamil cinema, winning the SIIMA Award for Best Debutant Actress for Doctor (2022), and in 2026 became Honorary Ambassador of Korea Tourism.
